Same building on State Street, same family running it, since before most DUI schools in Georgia existed.
Banks-Jackson has been on State Street in Commerce since before Georgia tightened its DUI laws the way they stand today. We didn't franchise, we didn't get bought out, and we didn't move to a strip mall outside town. Same family, same building, same phone number most of our long-time clients still have saved from years ago.
People show up here after a bad night, a court date, or a letter from their insurance company, and most have never set foot in a classroom like ours before. We don't run it like a lecture hall. Classes stay small enough that our instructors know your name by the second session, and every evaluation happens one-on-one, not in a waiting room full of strangers hearing your business. The Risk Reduction Program is Georgia's required class for a first DUI, and we teach it the way the state actually wants it taught, not rushed through in an afternoon. You'll leave understanding exactly what changed in your record and why.
Alcohol and Drug Evaluations and Substance Abuse Evaluations happen one-on-one, not in a group. We ask the questions the court needs answered, we're straightforward about what the results mean for your case, and we never make the conversation feel like an interrogation. Most people finish in under an hour.
Driver Improvement Education
Driver Improvement courses are for anyone who picked up points, got flagged by the DMV, or just wants a cleaner record before their next renewal. We walk through the specific violations on your record instead of teaching a one-size-fits-all class.
Defensive Driving
Defensive Driving covers the habits that actually prevent accidents, not just the rules you already memorized for your permit test. Insurance companies recognize the certificate, and most students see a discount within a billing cycle or two.
Point Reduction
Georgia's point system adds up fast, and a suspension notice usually shows up before you expect it. This class is built to knock points off your license the way the state allows, before it turns into a bigger problem at the DMV.
Insurance Reduction
Completing the right course can lower your premium, sometimes by a noticeable amount. We give you the paperwork your insurance company will actually ask for, filled out the way they expect to see it.
Ticket and Fine Reduction
Some tickets and fines can be reduced or dismissed once you've completed the right class, depending on the county and the violation. We'll tell you plainly whether this applies to your situation before you sign up for anything.
